From 23 to 26 October, drivers and their teams will head to the Alps for an exciting challenge. The 8th E-Rallye Monte-Carlo with its secret route consists of 14 special stages and 250 kilometres of track. The competition in the Principality has the status of an international round of the Bridgestone FIA ecoRally Cup.
In 2024, 63 teams, 17 different nationalities and more than 40 electric cars have entered. Camilla Gottlieb and Margot Grundstein will represent their association BeSafe in a FIAT 500, while Monaco City Hall will also send representatives Jacques Pastore and Fulvio Gazzola in a KIA EV6. Stefano Modena, a former Formula 1 driver who won 70 Grands Prix and finished 3rd at the 1989 Monaco Grand Prix, will take part in the race.
The departure of the crews will traditionally take place from Piazza Casino, and the participants will have to follow a challenging route, crossing the Alps of Upper Provence, the Maritime Alps, the Var uplands and the peaks of the Italian Riviera. An awards ceremony and gala dinner will be held in Monaco on 26 October.
