On 4 November, the popular Asian restaurant THE NIWAKI will host the European Sushi Cooking Championship.
Launched by Julien Panet in 2023, the sushi culinary competition will take place for the second time in Monaco. Chefs from nine countries will take part in the challenge: Belgium, Italy, Monaco, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Spain, Sweden and Spain. France is represented by Tino Singaraj, the overall winner of the French Sushi Championship 2024.
The contestants will start with a preparatory round, followed by a creative part that will determine the winner. The chefs must come up with a composition of 40-50 sushi on one or more plates, including nigiri, maki, uramaki, kazari maki, kazari sushi, vegetarian sushi and 15 sashimi.
