On May 16, the 3rd Gastronomic Charity Gala of the Ibero-American Association A.M.I. took place at the Yacht Club of Monaco.
After the Dominican Republic and Peru, the organizers introduce the residents of the principality to Honduras, the country of the Mayans, mountains and valleys. The specially designed menu called «Taste of the Ancestors» is created from over 200 ingredients by 4 chefs.
The evening’s program included a gourmet dinner, traditional live music and dancing. The event was attended by the Prince of Monaco and the Minister of Honduras, Eduardo Enrique Reina Garcia.
A.M.I. was founded in 2022 by five women involved in humanitarian work in Latin America. The association’s projects are aimed at protecting disadvantaged children, thanks to support they receive an education and feel protected.
This year, the association’s ambassador, Sandra Murcia, is working on a new project to help older people with disabilities.
