From 15 February to 2 March, the streets of Nice will host a real celebration designed to chase away the winter malaise — Carnival in Nice 2025! For over 150 years, the arrival of spring in Nice cannot be imagined without the traditional carnival and parades of colours.
Colourful floats in the afternoon and evening parade of Corsi Carnavalesques and Batailles de Fleurs, street concerts, a bustling fair and folk festivities await us. The carnival attracts over 200,000 visitors each year and is one of the largest events on the Côte d’Azur.
The theme for 2025 is oceans: meet the King of the Oceans at the parade! Head to Place Massena in Nice to see processions, giant sculptures and decorations, evening shows and fragrant floral parades.
