Rose Ball in disco style
On March 23, the Sporting Monte-Carlo hosted a charity gala evening, which has been held annually since 1954. Princess Caroline’s choice fell on the world of disco balls and a musical genre that was extremely popular in the 70s and 80s. Shangela and Chad Michaels took the stage, real-life drag queens who seemed to come straight out of the 80s to perform hits by Donna Summer and Cher. Gloria Gaynor was the main star of the evening. This American singer, who became famous thanks to such hits as I Will Survive and Never Can Say Goodbye, has become a real symbol of disco. Continuing the evening, DJ Kiddy Smile organized an unforgettable after-party until dawn.
«Les Ambassadeurs by Christophe Cussac» — two Michelin stars
The recently opened restaurant Les Ambassadeurs by Christophe Cussac was awarded two Michelin stars. This is a brilliant recognition of the creativity of chef Christophe Cussac and his team, who have been offering exceptional gastronomy since last July. The atmosphere is friendly and relaxed, which does not detract from the impeccable service in the restaurant’s own style. Black caviar and organic poached egg served in a zucchini flower, lobster lasagna with tarragon, spinach and spianata salami, scallop and artichoke with coriander broth, seafood with saffron calasparra rice and cured sobrassada, lamb chops with tart thyme and peas, bone marrow entrecote with melba toast and red wine sauce… Bold and sophisticated dishes with artful combinations of flavors.
