One year after acquiring the Palace des Neiges hotel in Courchevel 1850, the Monegasque group of companies SBM (Monte-Carlo Société des Bains de Mer) announced the name of an ambitious hotel project — Monte-Carlo One — Courchevel.
Courchevel 1850 is considered to be one of the most prestigious ski resorts in the world, it hosts high-level sporting events. In 2030 the three valleys will host the Winter Olympic Games. This unique location in the French Alps shares the values of the SBM and the Principality, shared Stéphane Valéry, President of the company.
The hotel is located in the heart of the prestigious Jardin Alpin. The project is planned to be renovated according to the highest environmental standards. Herzog & deMeuron, an international architectural agency based in Basel, Switzerland, will be responsible for the new look of the complex.
Monte-Carlo One — Courchevel epitomises the link between the heritage and the future of SBM. Like every SBM establishment, it will have its own universe, while remaining an elegant and sophisticated place in the best Monte-Carlo tradition.
