This weekend, the Principality of Monaco becomes the epicentre of running sport as it hosts the Monaco Run Gramaglia 2025. This year will go down in the history of the event, setting a new record for the number of participants.
Sports stars at the start
Among the participants is Cassandra Bograd, 2024 Olympic triathlon champion and athlete of the AS Monaco Athlétisme club. She will take to the start line of the 5 kilometre race, which takes her through the picturesque streets of the Principality. One of her main rivals will be Likina Amebau, last year’s record holder with a time of 14’35.
Record number of participants
In 2025, the number of registered participants reached 3,800 — an all-time record in the history of the event. This growth in interest in the Monaco Run Gramaglia confirms its status as one of the most popular running events in the region.
